Maternity Monday

Yes...I am aware that it is Tuesday.  I am just too lazy, lately, to get the motivation to do something, unless I really feel like doing it.  And, yesterday, I was enjoying an evening of doing nothing but watching Netflix with my husband.

However, I am still in maternity "bliss(?)".  I wouldn't call it bliss.  I'd call it....agony, frustration, never ending?  I don't know...you pick.

Maternity Monday

I have to admit, I'm way too exhausted to write a good post, today.  Are Braxton Hicks contractions exhausting, or is it simply being 36 weeks pregnant.  Either way, I feel constantly torn between my deep desire to get things accomplished and my extreme exhaustion.

We did, however do our maternity photos, yesterday.  It was so fun!  It's too soon to have them to show, yet.  But, once she has them done, I'll be sure to post some.

I also got some baby crafts, done!  I promise to post some crafts, soon...ish.  It may have to wait until I am happily on maternity leave, however.

Maternity Monday: Babyproofing our Pets, or Petproofing our Baby?

I don't want to live in fear of how my beloved pets will react to my sweet baby, after he comes home.  So, we've started babyproofing our pets...or petproofing our baby, I don't know which.

I started by cleaning a baby doll with baby soap, putting some baby lotion on it, and putting it in our little rocker/bouncer.  Then, I put it on the floor and played baby sounds through Brandon's iPod.  Hurley wasn't phased, at all.  He had his bone.  Not much excites him, if he has a bone.  Vinnie was slightly interested, but mostly just sniffed and looked.  He was mostly interested in sitting in my lap.

Maternity Mon....er...Tuesday

OK, so I know it's Tuesday, and I didn't even post a Maternity Monday, last week.  But, I'm pregnant, and tired, and it was holiday time...so, yeah.

Brandon and I took our "Babymoon," this past weekend.  We were going to go away, but we decided it wouldn't be the wisest use of our money.  So, we had a Staycation Babymoon.  It was actually quite fun.

We started the weekend with what was supposed to be dinner and s'mores over the fire pit.  Unfortunately, we couldn't get the fire going.  So, it ended up going like this.  "Quick!  Better cook your hotdog before the fire goes out...This isn't really done...I'm cold..."
