I mentioned the other day that I started following the Fly Lady plan. I'm still following her baby steps, so there isn't a whole lot for me to do each day. I love that, because it makes it easier to establish habits. So I didn't have many things to do, today, as far as my baby steps, go. But, I wanted to get some cleaning/straightening done in the house.
Fly Lady talks about setting a timer and cleaning a room for a set amount of time. I liked this idea, because I already knew I work well in these situations. I do well if I have a deadline, and I don't feel overwhelmed if I know there is an end in sight. So, here's the plan I created for myself, today:
10 Min.- Master Bath
15 Min.- Guest Bath
30 Min.-Living Room/Dining Room
15 Min.- Bedroom
10 Min.- Kitchen
Now, I didn't get any deep cleaning done, and the house certainly isn't spotless. But, it looks pretty good, and I feel quite accomplished.
